Man finds 40 men destroying his home

Man returns home to find it has been destroyed.

Two men were recently arrested by the Primrose police and charged with malicious damage to property.

They were arrested in the Makause informal settlement, after the complainant alleged that he left his home to attend to business in Boksburg.

As he left, he noticed a number of builders who were working near his home.

“When the complainant returned he found about 40 people, who were wearing red overalls, demolishing his structure.

“When he asked what they were doing they referred him to their supervisor, who did not say anything thing except that they are from the Red Ants,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

The man called for the police, who rushed to the scene.

Upon their arrival the officers found and questioned the two supervisors.

“Neither of the two men could explain properly why they were demolishing the complainant’s structure and failed to produce any eviction order,” added Maome.

Both men were arrested and later appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their case was postponed for plea and trial.
