Brig Phumla Mdlankomo, the Germiston police cluster commander, welcomes everybody back from the festive season holidays and hopes that everyone who went away, enjoyed themselves and rested well.
“As the new year gets going we urge the community of Germiston to join hands with us in the fight against crime.
“Together all of us can make a difference and squeeze crime down to zero for 2015, thus making Germiston a safer place for all to stay and work in,” said Mdlankomo.
She added that during December, the crime situation was kept under control as the Germiston SAPS had most of its members on duty to patrol all the sectors in Germiston.
She also thanked and applauded all the police officers for the hard work and extra hours they put in while performing their duties, to ensure the safety of the community and their properties during the festive period.
“We as management of the Germiston cluster stations also invite the community to engage with us in all the different projects we are planning for 2015,” said Mdlankomo.
