Hannes Myburg and Johanna Smit are beside themselves with worry.
The Primrose residents do not know what has happened to Elize Zelda Britz (40).
Smit is Britz’s mother and Myburg her long-time fiancé.
They reported her missing to the Primrose Police on January 14 and are at the point now when they just want some answers.
Britz was last seen at about 7am on January 14, in Homestead.
At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a red shirt, jeans and brown slip-on shoes.
Myburg told the GCN that she has blonde peroxided hair which she likes to wear back in a ponytail.
“She has blue eyes and lots of freckles,” Myburg said.
Britz is about 1.5m tall and has a sporty build.
She has a mark on her right thigh, a mark on her left foot and one on her face, running from her left eye to her left ear.
Since her disappearance Myburg has not heard a word from her, however Smit told the GCN that she had received a WhatsApp message from Britz’s phone number, saying, “Mama, ek is ok”, on January 17.
She added that she had received another on the same day, telling her that Britz just wanted to be alone and by herself.
“However, later that same day, a number of people, including myself, received a message from her with just the word ‘help’,” Smit said.
The family does not know what to believe and just wants to find her and know that she is alright.
On the same day as Britz’s disappearance, another Primrose person was also reported missing.

Dessie Rechner, the director and head of operations for The Pink Ladies, said that Louis Corneles Bronkhorst (20) was also reported missing at the Primrose Police Station.
He is described as having a large build and a height of 1.87m.
He has brown eyes and short brown hair.
The Pink Ladies’ missing adult alert says that Bronkhorst was last seen in Windsor Road, Primrose.
At the time of his disappearance he was wearing silver and green takkies, a red shirt with white text on it and black jeans.
He has tattoos on his right arm – one of a skeleton head smoking a cigarette and another of a cross.
Myburg alleges that Britz and Bronkhorst worked together at a store in Primrose.
It is unknown if their disappearances are related.
Communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome, told the GCN that the police have opened missing person files and handed them over to the National Missing Persons Bureau for investigation and circulation.
If anyone has any information about either Britz or Bronkhorst they are urged to contact their nearest police station, or the National Missing Persons Bureau, on 08600 10111.
Anyone with information about Britz is welcome to contact Myburg on 072 944 1073.
