The athletes of the Ekurhuleni Primary School, in Dukathole, received a welcome surprise when Kobus Booysen and Naòmi Booysen, of Avbob’s Germiston branch, visited the school last Tuesday.
The two brought a donation of 120 T-shirts, 120 bags and 120 water bottles to help the school’s athletes in their upcoming inter-schools athletics meeting.
This will not, however, be the only involvement by the company in the school this year, as they have adopted its sports programme as their charity outreach project.
Principal of the school Lorraine Ngobhozi is thrilled with the partnership and is looking forward to the year ahead.
