Sunnyridge residents Tyler and Kathy Glaus’s Monday evening walk ended in tragedy, when Kathy was badly bitten by a dog, which escaped from a yard.
On Tuesday, March 10, the couple went to meet with the dog’s owner (who doesn’t wish to be named).
This meeting ended well with the trio reaching an agreement.
“He came and sincerely apologised to us,” Tyler said.
The dog’s owner told the GCN he has agreed to help the couple with the medical bills as far as his finances will allow.
The couple opened a case with the Primrose police after the incident, which is still under investigation.
