Planned water supply interruption will affect some residents
Some residents to be without water due to maintenance.
In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable water supply to consumers, the metro is informing residents that technicians will be carrying out a water pressure drop test.
In order to make way for the work, a water supply interruption will be implemented on Wednesday, May 27, from 8am to 4pm.
The affected areas include: Groeneweide and Klippoortje.
Water tankers will be provided at the following locations:
- Groeneweide:
- Corner of Katonkel and Marlin streets.
- Corner of Tunny and Agulhas streets.
- Corner of Draggeraad and Kabeljou streets.
- Klippoortje:
- Corner of Agulhas and Soetdoring streets.
- Corner of Delmas and Kammeldoring streets.
- Corner of Barker and Amanda Streets.
Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic use.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience which will be caused.
