A 23-year-old man was arrested when he attempted to sell dagga to undercover Primrose police officers.
“The arrest took place in the Marathon informal settlement, during the maximum deployment Fiela operation,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
Not suspecting the officers, as they were dressed in civilian clothing, the man offered them dagga for a good price.
The man was arrested, and later appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
