Three vehicles involved in Klopper Park crash

Two seriously injured in Klopper Park accident.

Three vehicles collided at the intersection of Herman and Kruin streets in Klopper Park, on June 18.

The accident, which involved two trucks and a Toyota Tazz, was caused when one of the trucks failed to stop at the intersection’s red traffic light.

The truck collided with a truck stopped at the robot, which in turn collided with the Toyota Tazz stopped in front of it.

The driver and the passenger of the truck, believed to have caused the accident, sustained serious injuries and were taken to the Life Roseacres Clinic in Primrose.

Two passengers in the second truck sustained slight injuries and they were transported to Edenvale Hospital.

The driver of the Toyota Tazz did not sustain any injuries in the collision.

EMPD were on scene to divert traffic away from Kruin Street which was closed off while the accident was cleared.

William Ntladi, media liaison officer for the Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS) commented that DEMS teams assisted with the clean-up of the oil spilt on scene.
