Members of the Ekurhuleni Peace Corps in conjunction with the Lungile Mtshali brigades will march through the streets of Germiston this morning.
The march, which is due to start at 10 am, will see demonstrators march from the Germiston Station to the mayoral office at the Germiston civic centre.
The Peace Corps members are demanding answers that the Ekurhuleni’s executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, promised them at the budget speech on May 28.
Residents in the Germiston CBD may experience some delays due to the march, and where possible are encouraged to find alternative routes.
GCN journalist Leigh Hodgson will be on scene at the Civic Centre.
