During a recent routine patrol in Primrose, members of the flying squad arrested a 28-year-old man in Oak Avenue.
The man was charged with the possession of drugs after officers found a small bag containing Kat in his possession.
He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
