During a recent stop-and-search operation held by the Primrose police, a 28-year-old man was arrested for the possession of dagga.
Officers became suspicious of the man when he appeared nervous of the police presence.
He was searched and a plastic bag containing dagga was found in his possession.
He was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station, where he was formally charged.
The accused is due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
