In its continuous efforts to provide a stable and reliable power supply to consumers, the metro will be conducting maintenance work at the Technical College substation in Germiston.
In order to make way for the work there will be a planned power supply interruption that will affect parts of Germiston today, August 13, from 8am until 4pm.
The following areas will be affected:
• Driehoek.
• Germiston Extensions One, Three, Four, Seven, Eight, Nine and 17.
• Jupiter.
• Germiston North.
• Germiston South extensions.
• Simmerfield proper and Extension One.
• Germiston West.
Future commissioning of the newly installed breakers will be conducted and residents will be notified when this is done.
Residents are urged to treat all electrical networks and equipment as electrically live at all times.
