CPR training introduces participants to basic techniques for assisting a person experiencing cardiac arrest while waiting for professional medical assistance. Basic first aid focuses on providing immediate assistance to injured or ill people, while fire safety training helps participants identify potential fire hazards, prevent fires and respond appropriately to fire-related emergencies.

Residents interested in participating in the free training are encouraged to contact or visit their nearest fire station to enquire about available programmes, training schedules and arrangements for participation.
Through the initiative, the city aims to make emergency preparedness education more accessible and build safer, more resilient communities by empowering residents with practical knowledge that could help save lives.
