Witnesses invited to ‘Imitate Jesus’
Calling Jehovah’s Witnesses to attend convention.
Jehovah’s Witnesses from Germiston and its surrounding areas are invited to attend their annual regional convention.
This year’s theme is “Imitate Jesus” and the event will run from August 28 to 30, at the Nasrec Expo Centre.
Collen Hawley, a convention spokesman, from Primrose, said: “Jesus, the founder of Christianity, is widely considered as one of the most influential and significant men who ever lived.
“As Christians, a core belief of Jehovah’s Witnesses is that Jesus lived his life as a model for us to follow.”
This year’s convention will examine the life of Jesus, as outlined in the Bible, and emphasise how all people can benefit in practical ways from his example and teachings.
All are welcome to attend the convention and entrance is free.
