Mulbarton’s Soul Buddies donate cereals to Opelweg

Mulbarton Primary School learners and their teachers arrived at Opelweg Primary in Eden Park to hand over a donation of breakfast cereals for the school’s feeding scheme.

EDEN PARK – Mulbarton Primary School learners and their teachers arrived at Opelweg Primary in Eden Park on Wednesday, September 2, to hand over a donation of breakfast cereals for the school’s feeding scheme.

The Soul Buddies from Mulbarton Primary are known for their charity work and arrived in their school bus to hand over the donations of delicious breakfast goodies.

“The Soul Buddies go out to different schools to do or help with charity work and donate to other schools whenever there is a need,” said Mulbarton teacher, Vernique John.

Deputy principal of Opelweg Primary, Sheida Oliphant, expressed her gratitude to the Soul Buddies on behalf of the school and the learners.

“This is a big boost for our feeding scheme as the cereals are much needed. This is the beginning of a long partnership with Mulbarton Primary.”
