Local girl gets design award

Primrose resident Chantelle Schoultz has done well in a design competition.

Congratulations to the Jeppe High School for Girls design students who have excelled in The Star newspaper’s Design-an-Ad competition.

Chantelle Schoultz (Grade 11), who resides in Primrose, received a highly commended for her ad for the front page “Vision of Johannesburg in 2055”.

Her ad appeared in The Star supplement of September 30, along with those of Lizan Potgieter (Grade 11) who was voted the grand winner for the front page category “Vision of Johannesburg in 2055” and Jodi Lailvaux (Grade 12) who was the third place winner for her ad in the Grade 10 to 12 category for Adams Discount Centre.

Kayla Gailey (Grade 12) was also recognised for her contribution to the competition for her Bakos Brothers ad.
