Thirty-three nabbed by Primrose police
Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.
The Primrose Police arrested 33 suspects from December 7 to 13.
The suspects were charged with various crimes in the Primrose area.
Charges included:
- Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 5
- Common assault: 3
- Attempted murder: 1
- Shoplifting: 2
- Theft: 1
- Pointing a firearm: 1
- Dealing in liquor without a license: 3
- Driving under the influence of alcohol: 13
- Warrant of arrest: 2
- Illegal immigrants: 2
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela, for deportation.
