The festive season is upon us and many are ready to take a much-needed and deserved summer holiday.
With this in mind the Primrose police have issued the following safety tips, which residents should consider before heading on holiday.
- Get to know your neighbours and tell them about your holiday plans.
- Do not leave lights on day and night as criminals monitor this.
- Let your local police station and/or CPF know when you plan to go on holiday.
- Do not carry and/or withdraw large amounts of money or keep large amounts of money in your home.
“It is important to think about your safety and the safety of your home before you go on holiday,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
