Live ammunition found in man’s pocket

Police find illegal ammunition in man’s possession after receiving anonymous tip-off.

While Primrose police members were recently patrolling the Makause informal settlement they received a tip-off about a man with illegal ammunition.

Police travelled to the address given where they found the accused outside a shack.

“Officers asked permission to search the man and his shack.

“In his front right pocket they found live ammunition and asked for a licence which he did not have,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
