In order to get the Germiston Victim Support Unit off the ground successfully the community’s help is needed.
Residents who have been victims of crime will soon have a place to go for support.
Local residents Jean Ingram and Stacy Yates are starting the Germiston Victim Support Unit.
However, to get the unit off the ground successfully, sponsors are needed.
The following items are needed:
- Toys.
- Colouring books.
- Pencil crayons and wax crayons.
- Tissues (pocket size packets – not boxes).
- Notebooks and pens.
- Surgical gloves.
- Basic first aid kits.

The team of 15 will be undergoing training this weekend and thereafter the unit will be fully operational.
Volunteers are welcome, as well as any help the community can offer.
