A Land Rover Discovery crashed through bridge barriers and landed on the railway line, recently. The accident took place on the Webber Road railway bridge at about 10.40pm and Ekurhuleni Emergency Services, as well as private ambulance services, responded to the scene.

The Primrose police are requesting that anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of suspects involved in a Wesel Road, Sunnyridge housebreaking come forward. It is alleged that the home owner was driving in North Reef Road when he was stopped by what he believed were three EMPD officers, as they were in full uniform and driving a marked vehicle with blue lights.

The metro is warning its residents and customers of con-artists posing as municipal officials, selling pre-paid electricity meters and demanding the payment of spot fines, for meter boxes which have allegedly been tampered with.

Eleven-year-old Calvin Koen was found safe. Dessie Rechner, the director and founder of the The Pink Ladies, told the GCN that he arrived back at school safely last Monday and that there had been a misunderstanding as to his whereabouts.
5. Community to bid farewell to Jane: https://bit.ly/1Ls6D9A
The Din-Al-View community is mourning the loss of one of their own. Jane Dijkman, the public relations officer for the Din-Al-View CPF passed away last Thursday. She had been ill and in hospital and died peacefully, with her family, husband Barry and children Antoinette and Gerard, around her.
