Germiston police have opened a suicide docket after the body of Juandre Korf (15) was found in the Lambton area, on Saturday.
Korf went missing from Elsburg on Monday, April 25, and his body was found after a week-long search.
“The boy committed suicide by hanging himself,” said WO André de Jager, spokesman for the Germiston SAPS.
“It is still unknown why he hanged himself, the motive is still to be investigated.”
