A Primrose business owner realised that his property had been robbed when his employees asked him to find some tools.
“When he arrived at work, his employees asked him about some tools and when he went looking for them he realised that something was wrong,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
On further inspection he discovered three offices’ doors were broken and three computers, a fridge, a kettle, an office cellphone, two cameras and several other items were missing.
“The goods taken are estimated at R15 000,” said Maome.
The police were called to the scene.
After following several leads, a 29-year-old man was arrested for the crime.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
