The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics.
From May 2 to 8, officers from the Primrose Police Station arrested 18 suspects for various crimes in the area.
Charges included;
- Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 1
- Common assault: 2
- Possession of drugs: 4
- Armed robbery: 1
- Business robbery: 2
- Shoplifting: 2
- Trespassing: 1
- Illegal immigrants: 5
The acting Primrose SAPS station commander, Lieut-Col Solly Maswanganyi, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation
