Essential maintenance is to be carried out at the Chapman Road substation in Germiston on Sunday, June 5.
In order for the work to be done a planned power interruption will be implemented from 6am to 6pm.
The suburbs affected by the outage will include:
• Airport Park extensions two and four
• All extensions in Denlee
• Elandshaven
• Germiston Extension Seven;
• Klippoortjie
• Lambton
• Parkhill Gardens
• Rand Airport
• All extensions in Germiston South
• Webber.
“We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” said metro spokesman Themba Gadebe.
