Eleven arrested in Katlehong North

Police hold weekend operation to crack down on crime in Katlehong North.

Officers from the Katlehong North Crime Prevention Unit took to the streets over the weekend (July 8 to 10) in a crime prevention operation.

During the operation police arrested 11 suspects for various offences.

Suspects were charged with a number of crimes including robbery, possession of hijacked motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, murder and possession of drugs (which includes dagga and nyaope).

All of the accused were held at the Katlehong North Police Station pending their appearance in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
