From July 3 to 10 the Primrose police, together with members of the EMPD, arrested 20 suspects in the Primrose area.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics shared by the station.
The accused were arrested on a number of charges including, possession of drugs, armed robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence and driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as, theft, contempt of court and a number of illegal immigrants.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Lieut-Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
