At 7am, last Friday, EMPD Loss Control Unit members received information about a Toyota Hilux which had been stolen at OR Tambo International Airport and immediately jumped into action in search of the vehicle.
Working together with a tracking company, the grey Toyota Hilux was tracked down to an industrial site in Meadowdale.
Its dashboard and the doors had been damaged and the rear window broken.
The front bumper was also found to be slightly damaged.
