Thirty nabbed for various crimes

The Primrose SAPS have been hard at work targeting crime in their area.

Thirty people were nabbed by the Primrose police in various operations between July 25 and 31.

Individuals were arrested for the following crimes: possession of drugs, common robbery, business break-ins, housebreaking and theft, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, pointing of a firearm, rape, domestic violence, shoplifting, malicious damage to property, contempt of court and illegal immigration.

The Primrose SAPS station commander Lieut-Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.

The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
