During a routine patrol of Pretoria Road, in Primrose, members of the EMPD recently stopped a suspicious-looking vehicle.
While officers searched the white bakkie they discovered that it was linked to a case of vehicle theft, opened at the Johannesburg Central Police Station.
The officers questioned the 30-year-old driver, but he was unable to give a clear indication of where he had obtained the vehicle.
He was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
