Katlehong South police conducted a stop-and-search operation in the area last weekend.
During the operation, which began on Friday, 23 suspects were arrested.
The accused were arrested on a variety of charges, which included theft, common assault and serious assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, drinking liquor in public and possession of dagga.
All arrested suspects were expected to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
