The Germiston SAPS have been hard at work combating crime in their policing area.
During the week dated September 5 to 11 they made 54 arrests.
People were arrested for the following offences:
- Possession of dagga: 1
- Armed robbery: 4
- Theft: 4
- Common robbery: 3
- Fraud: 1
- Possession of suspected stolen goods: 5
- Shoplifting: 4
- Assault GBH: 9
- Drunk and driving: 6
- Possession of drugs: 3
- Dealing in liquor without a licence: 3
- Pointing of a firearm: 1
- Possession of an unlicensed firearm: 2
- Possession of housebreaking implements: 2
- Possession of copper: 1
- Intimidation: 1
- Car hijacking: 1
- Theft of a motor vehicle: 1
- Warrant of arrest: 2
