Katlehong police nab 15

Crime Prevention Unit’s operations leads to several arrests.

Members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit recently mounted several operations in the area, leading to the arrest of 15 suspects, on several charges.

These included, malicious damage to property, arson (where a 29-year-old man allegedly set fire to his girlfriend’s house after an argument), shoplifting, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of drugs, which included dagga and nyaope.

All of the arrested suspects have appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
