The Germiston SAPS recorded a number of successes during the week October 3 to 9, arresting 70 people.
People were arrested on the following charges:
- Malicious damage to property: 6
- Warrant of arrest: 9
- Driving under the influence of alcohol: 4
- Shoplifting: 6
- Assault GBH: 5
- Assault common: 1
- Rape: 1
- Theft: 10
- Fraud: 5
- Possession of dagga: 7
- Possession of hijacked car: 2
- Possession of drugs: 3
- Illegal gambling: 1
- Common robbery: 3
- Business robbery: 2
- Possession of ammunition: 1
- Interference with police while performing their duties: 3
- Dealing with dagga: 1
