The Katlehong South police arrested 23 suspects this weekend for various offences.
The suspects were arrested during a stop-and-search operation held by the Katlehong South Crime Prevention Unit, with the help of detectives from the Katlehong South Police Station.
Charges included;
- Possession of an unlicensed firearm: 3
- Driving under the influence of alcohol: 1
- Trespassing: 1
- Warrant of arrest: 1
- Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 6
- Possession of drugs (dagga and nyaope): 11
All the arrested suspects are expected to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
