Two suspects apprehended for dagga

Bags of dagga were found in the possession of two men in the Marathon informal settlement.

A fruitful foot patrol lead to the arrest of two suspects in the Marathon informal settlement on November 14.

The suspects, both aged 26, were arrested by the Primrose SAPS Task Team for possession of two large bags of dagga.

The task team was patrolling the informal settlement when they noticed suspicious movement happening at two shacks, and upon observation they discovered that a number of people were frequenting the two homes.

They then decided to go into each of the shacks where they found a man in each preparing dagga.

The men were arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station and are expected to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
