A man recently opened a case of assault after he was allegedly attacked by his girlfriend and an unknown man.
The man told the police that he had gone to visit his girlfriend in the Sakhile informal settlement where he found her in her shack with another man.
He accused her of cheating on him, after which he claims he was pushed out of the shack and assaulted by the accused.
Police officers were able to trace and arrest the 27-year-old man and the 41-year-old woman.
The pair were taken to the Katlehong Police Station, pending their appearance in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
