Substance abuse continues to be a problem for the Primrose police.
Recently officers from the station arrested two men in the Delport informal settlement after receiving an anonymous tip-off.
“Police were told two men, aged 21 and 28 years old, were allegedly using nyaope,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
They travelled to the address given and found the two men in the process of taking the drug.
The men were arrested and charged with the possession of drugs.
They will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
