Police nab 12 in Katlehong South

Katlehong South police continue to crack down on crime in the area with stop-and-search operations.

Katlehong South SAPS continued their efforts to crack down on crime in the area, throughout the festive season.

In a recent stop-and-search, held by members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong South Police Station, 12 suspects were arrested.

The suspects were arrested for a number of different crimes.

Charges included: assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, housebreaking, possession of dagga, shoplifting and theft.

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
