Hard work leads to conviction

Through hard work and dedication Primrose police secure conviction.

Masilo Sila (25) was recently found guilty of attempted robbery with aggravating circumstances and sentenced to eight years imprisonment.

The sentence was handed down in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.

As part of Sila’s conviction he was declared unfit to possess a firearm.

WO Kenny Laubcher, a detective at the Primrose Police Station, was credited with the conviction, as he had been involved in the case since January last year.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked Laubcher for his hard work and dedication.

“I would encourage others to learn from his example,” she said.
