A case of pointing a firearm was opened at the Germiston Police Station recently.
This was after a complainant told Germiston SAPS officers that a suspect pointed a firearm at him.
The complainant went with the police to the suspect’s residential address, in Dukathole, where they arrested the 32-year-old man.
The suspect was detained at the Germiston Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
The matter is still under investigation.
