Minister shatters dreams
Once again, her actions have proved that certain ministers within the ANC government are incapable of ruling the country.
I am utterly disappointed by the Minister of Social Development Bathabile Dlamini’s lack of transparency about the social grant debacle.
I am a South African citizen and pensioner aged 71, and my dream of a better life for all in the country of my birth has just been shattered by the repulsive arrogance of Minister Bathabile Dlamini. Once again, her actions have proved that certain ministers within the ANC government are incapable of ruling the country.
Surely her refusal to answer questions posed to her by both the public and her colleagues in Parliament recently is a slap in the face for the millions of loyal South Africans who voted for the party in the last elections? Considering my age, I may not be around to cast my vote in the 2019 elections, but if I am, I will definitely vote against the ANC, as long as it still has ministers such as Bathabile Dlamini in its employ.
Come on now, Minister Dlamini, do the honourable thing and tell grant recipients and the people of South Africa whether they will receive their grants on the 1st of April or not. The ANC should stop making black people a laughing stock to the former government and its supporters.
