Students receive special award

Germiston High School students thrilled to receive special Principal’s Award

Two deserving Germiston High School students received a prestigious Principal’s Award, during a special end of term assembly recently.

The award, which sees each learner receiving a purple tie, is awarded to learners who have received half colour in three or more areas.

Mihlali Nene was one of two Germiston High learners to receive the special Principal’s Award.

Mihlali received the award in recognition of his half colours in sport (rowing), half cultural colours and service colours.

While Zameka Maqubela,  was awarded a Principal’s Award, after being awarded half colours for sport (netball), half academic colours and service half colours.

Both students were thrilled to to receive the awards.
