Officers from the Primrose Police Station and Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk members took to the streets of Sector One to raise awareness about crimes affecting the area.
The team handed out over 350 safety tip pamphlets to the residents of Marlands, interacting with residents and educating them about the crimes of concern in the area.
“House break-ins and thefts, theft out of motor vehicles and theft of motor vehicles are still giving us sleepless nights in this sector.
“We appeal to the community to take the safety tips they received into consideration because the tips will help them,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
The management team of the Primrose Police Station thanked the Youth Desk members for always striving to educate the community and helping to fight crime in the area.
