Making strides to create a metro fit for children

The Alberton Civic Centre will host an ECD summit.

Ekurhuleni-based early childhood development (ECD) centres are invited to attend an ECD summit on October 18 and October 19.

The event takes place at the Alberton Civic Centre in Alberton to discuss best practices that would lead to healthy and literate children.

This is the seventh instalment of the two-day summit and is being held under the theme, “Quality ECD can’t wait”, and is expected to draw close to 450 practitioners from various centres.

Key in the deliberations is the promotion of coordinated ECD programmes to achieve a more coherent and consistent quality output.
