Two nabbed with dagga in Railway Street

Germiston police seize dagga in arrest of two men in Railway Street.

While on patrol in Railway Street, last Thursday, officers from the Germiston Police Station arrested two men for dagga possession.

The men, aged 20 and 30 respectively, were arrested after police noticed them acting suspiciously.

“They approached the men and asked to search them.

“During the search officers found bags of dagga with a street value of R5 000. These were confiscated and the men were arrested,” said Capt George Raphulu, head of communications for the Germiston SAPS.

The men were detained at the Germiston Police Station and will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.

“Further investigation into the case is being conducted,” Raphulu said.
