Police target criminals in Katlehong

Katlehong police hope to curb crime in their precinct through stop-and-search operations.

During a recent stop-and-search in Katlehong, officers from the Katlehong Police Station nabbed 10 suspects.

The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.

Charges included: murder, common assault, intimidation, house break-in and theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of dagga.

All the suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on the various charges. Their cases were postponed.

Katlehong police hope that through continuous operations they will curb crime in the area.
