Six suspects were recently arrested during a Katlehong police stop-and-search.
The operation was conducted by members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit, with the help of the EMPD.
The accused were arrested for a number of different offences.

Charges included:
• Assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm: 1
• Common assault: 2
• Driving under the influence of alcohol: 2
• Possession of dagga: 1
All of the accused appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
