Travel safely these holidays
Have a safe journey during your Christmas holidays with these travelling tips in mind.
The holiday period is upon us and many people will be travelling on the roads, so these valuable tips are sure to go a long way towards keeping you and your family safe.
The first thing you need to check before you leave is your vehicle. Make sure that everything is in working order when it comes to your brakes, engine oil, tyres, lights and indicators. Do not forget to check your wiper blades, because bad weather is always around the corner.
On the journey, make sure you have plenty of water to keep your body hydrated and make regular stops at service stations where you can stretch your legs and have a break from the road.
Always be relaxed and confident on the road, and make sure you have enough sleep the night before embarking on your journey.
