A 36-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police for the theft of a motor vehicle.
It is alleged that the man stole his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle while she was visiting a friend at Howe Circle.
“The complainant alleged that she was visiting her friend when her ex-boyfriend arrived and began arguing with her.
“To avoid him she locked herself in her friend’s bedroom, leaving her handbag on the couch,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The man allegedly took the woman’s car keys and left in her vehicle.
He was later arrested and taken to Primrose Police Station.
He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
